I am the woman I am because of my "Tribe"...Check out some of my tribe members and why they are such a valuable force in my life.

The old saying "it takes a village..." has never rung more true in my life. My tribe is EVERYTHING. We laugh together. Cry together. Drink together and plot to take over the world together.

Here are some of the personalities/people in my tribe. Here are some key members that everyone needs in their tribe.

The Foundation: Family

My mom, dad, sister, aunts, and cousins have showed me just how fortunate I am to have been born into my family.

They send Sloane clothes. Come in town and braid hair. Given me a stylish diaper bag. Flown up to watch Sloane and driven down to pick her up and drop her off.

My family has even connected me with people who have become very vital members of my tribe.

Framily (Friends of the Family)

My family friends truly look at Sloane and I like members of their own family. These people have showed up and showed out for us.

They have thrown us a #SipNSee. Every time they see us they have a gift for Sloane. The Framily makes sure to stop by and see Sloane-even if for a second-no matter where we are.

Some of them have gone through divorces and offer me words of encouragement and show me that life does go on and it can and will be beautiful.

Superwoman aka The Mom Who Can Legit Do Everything

Look, we all like to think we can do everything, but there truly are some people that can do any and everything. This #superwoman has a pretty intense job, cleans, cooks, exercises, decorates, refurbishes furniture, finds time to make sure her kids are in some type of extracurricular activity, and we talk almost every day!

Like the girl made homemade doughnuts for goodness' sake!

The great thing about this #superwoman is she does it all and does not post on social media for the #humblebrag. She also does not try to make others feel bad. She just feels like she is doing what she has to do for her family.

Her doing ability to do everything empowers me to tap into my very own #Superwoman.

The Encourager

Look everyone around me is super encouraging, but every tribe needs the member that is notorious for being encouraging.

They are genuinely the type of person that if you are within her inner circle...she just believes in you!

The encourager keeps you going when you cannot. She sees your strength even when you feel there is none there.

The Healer

The healer is great about advising you how to heal your spirit, protect your energy, eat healthy foods, pray over you, and to run on high vibes only.

This friend is there always to offer some form of advice that instantly heals your wounds and revitalizes your spirit.

The Boss

This friend is making SERIOUS moves in their life! One of the many amazing traits about this tribe member is the fact that they make these moves in silence aka no attention necessary.

The BOSS is someone you can look up to and have co-op-e-tition with...you all see each other level up and meet that level up with a level up of your own. Everyone wins in this kind of friendship.

The Researcher

Look...I will be honest...I did not read a single book about pregnancy and/or rearing a child. One could say...I am winging it like the millions...if not...billions of women before me.

Cue the researcher. This friend looks up everything and is all the happy to share the research they have found. Want to know about sleep training? They got several methods for you. Time to start potty training? Here's what THEIR research shows lol:-)

The Researcher make my whole winging of parenthood a little more purposeful in the approach!

The Strategist

Got an idea? Need to see that idea to fruition? Get you a strategist.

The Strategist is like your very own Jeff Bezos. They know how to make a molehill into a mountain in the BEST way possible.

The beauty about my tribe is that multi-members in my tribe have pretty much all of these traits. My tribe empowers me every second of every day.

Given the demands of work AND motherhood, life can sometimes fill like a never ending list of to dos. This is why it is so important that YOUR tribe fulfills you, encourages you, and helps you see it all through.
